Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show! Xmas 2016
Christmas came twice when Count Arthur Strong’s Radio Show! returned to the airwaves of BBC Radio 4 in 2016.
Komedia Entertainment and Smooth Operations were commissioned to make two programmes by BBC Radio 4 and the show featured Count Arthur Strong’s repertory company, which included Mel Giedroyc, Alastair Kerr, Dave Mounfield and introduced Alfie Delaney.
The Scam (transmitted 18/12/2016): As Christmas approaches and Arthur attempts to engineer his Christmas scotch from Secret Santa, he bumps into an old friend from his Army Days.
Randolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (transmitted on Christmas Day in the evening): After causing confusion with his Christmas nuts selection, Arthur attempts to round up reindeer and build Mont Fuji for his own Japanese themed Christmas wonderland.
Both shows were recorded at The Brewhouse in Taunton on the 22nd October 2016 in front of a live audience.
